Greetings from Shivale Education & Technology Foundation. We are hereby submitting a project proposal on Running Beautician Computer Training Center in Bagru Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The budget being requested for the proposal is 13, 25,500/- . We hope you would find it suitable for consideration

Women play an active role in day to day survival of the poorer communities in these villages. They bear the double burden of work in the house and out of the house. The low rate of literacy in the women of disadvantaged part of the community. They do not have any other skill to earning. There is increasing risk for scarcity of livelihood and employment in the region

Women have always been marginalized and relegated to the status of subjugated class in the Indian society. Especially in rural areas, women have not actively participated in their emancipation due to their lack of economic independence and illiteracy. Women should be organized and strengthened at the grass root level to end their subordination.

While rural youth unemployment often stems from lack of adequate education, even educated youth are frequently unable to find work. In fact, the unemployment rates for educated youth can be higher than those for youth with little schooling. Often this is because these educated youths are not skilled in areas in which there is demand for their labor. It is primarily due to the reason that in India we have very limited number of technical, occupational, Income and Employment-Generating short Skill Building Programs to equip the youth for the massive economic opportunities that are opening up in the country. According to a case study of samaj, 90% of the current jobs in India are ‘skill-based’ and require Skill Building training but only 26% of the population receive any form of training. There is a pronounced ‘skill gap’ both in terms of quality and quantity; current vocational education and training infrastructure is not geared to meet industry requirements which is creating massive shortfall in the job market.

Shivale Education & Technology Foundation is making an attempt in that direction to make rural women self-sufficient through teaching them Beautician computer Course. The main aim of this program is to enhance the quality of life of women through increased knowledge and skills.

Women Skill Building Program needs to become responsive to changing employment needs to prepare less-educated women for the new economy jobs. Youth look not only for at livelihood, but for dignity and for purpose and meaning in their lives. What they don’t have though is access to technical skills, training options, and life workplace readiness skills needed for acceptance in a knowledgeable and skills-based society.

Against such prevailing backdrop, there is a clear need to establish improved technical training institute in rural areas offering integrated programmes that address a broad spectrum of life skills, remedial education and job training. Key factors in the success of such programmes are that Women Skill Building Program  are selected subsequent to a market scan, and soft skills such as, communications, are integral part of the curricula.

The project envisages socio-economic transformation of the underprivileged women from a status of unemployment and vulnerability to a product of employability in the market. It aims to create opportunities to the disadvantaged women in rural areas of different states in India for quality flexible skills training and placement services in consonance with the employers’ needs and demands and prepare them for new economic jobs. The project would channelize energy of target youth towards constructive work resulting in lead a decent, reputed and productive life in the society. In such a way the implementation of the project will of course mitigate women unemployment in the proposed district of Bihar to a great extent.

This Project is for the benefit of poor needy widows, abused women, unemployed Girls and House mothers living below the poverty line in backward area of Jaipur District. The project aims to equip the women with a skill that will help them to improve their living standards and generate income for their families. Through shared learning the women befit form a sense of commitment and motivation in addition to gaining a value skill.  Under this scheme 1000 women/girls will be covered at the one Centre at Jaipur District, Rajasthan and grant support individually in accordance with the Budget provision besides to pay the honorarium to the Training Instructors respectively from time to time.

In the project area Bagru, Jaipur district, where poverty remains a mile-stone over the neck of rural women despite of hardworking creative with their hands, intelligent and forward-looking. Thus as a poverty alleviation endeavor, this project envisages to support such women.

Lack of skills training opportunities’ among young women is a common issue. Often, due to socio norms and financial crisis, they are unable to undertake vocational and skill trainings in the expensive training centers.

House wife women depend on the traditional work like housekeeping, collecting fodder and fuel wood to cattle and to earn income. Some of them do casual labor work but it produce poor earning which is not sufficient to arrange meal twice daily. This impact on the health of women. These are the women from Underprivileged community they have not any skill and nor secure their livelihood.

However, due to lack of training facilities and awareness, women never offered these techniques to create their micro enterprises in a profitable manner. Women mainly undertaking local workload to generate daily meal, and they never get the opportunity to explore other skills and markets beyond the existing one due to lack of skill and marketing support. This programme would include directly to vocational and skills development and will be reaching to the poor people with appropriate community mobilization and capacity building.

The beneficiaries that would be target in this project will be the poor needy widows, abused Women, unemployed Girls/women and House mothers, adolescent’s girls in the entire community of Slum Areas of Bagru, Jaipur.

Special focus will also be given in guidance not only in Women Skill Development Training  but possibilities of their generating skills through computer and Information
